Social justice and human rights
‘Social justice supports the fair and equitable treatment of all people
and aims to protect them from discrimination because of race, gender,
age and ability etc. The concepts of social justice are codified in the
form of human rights, international commitments to protect civil and
political rights, economic, social and cultural rights. Education about
social justice and human rights allows students to understand the
importance of treating people equitably and the responsibilities we all
have to protect the rights of others’
